Founder of Lamise Beauty Kate Wooyeon Park shares her K-Beauty skincare secrets
Once a week I use a warm steamed towel over my face before using a foam cleanser. It allows my pores to open up and softens the blackheads while also boosting the blood circulation which helps deep cleanse my skin. It’s important to make sure the towel is clean and not too hot before using the cleanser. I personally like to use the Huxley Cleansing Gel which is very gentle on the skin and refreshing with all the citrus extracts, and Organic Sahara’s pear Cactus Oil.
After cleansing my skin and using a toner, I put on a cold mask pack, which I keep in the fridge for 10 minutes, as the low temperature tightens the opened pores and provides hydration. One of my favourite mask packs is the Mediheal N.M.F Aquaring Nude Gel Mask which keeps the skin really well moisturized and doesn’t dry up very fast. It’s made especially for dry skin types which is great for the climate here in the UAE. It sticks really well on the face so that even when you walk around the house, the mask doesn’t slide down.
Sunscreen is really important for the climate in Dubai, so I always use a cream-based sunscreen before applying makeup.
