Find out why Karl Lagerfeld bathed in Collosol Eau de Lait

A brand with a following that includes the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Vanessa Paradis, Léa Seydoux, Marion Cotillard & Clémence Poésy to name a few, has to be doing something right. Collosol Eau de Lait was created in Paris in the 1950s by a French pharmacist, specifically for celebrities and actresses who requested for an exceptional product that could remove makeup, cleanse the skin and eliminate fatigue after performances. To fulfill his client’s needs, the pharmacist created a very unique half-milk, half-water formula with a subtle natural fragrance that was gentle on skin.

Eau de Lait combines the actions of micellar water and cleansing milk, is a vegan, cruelty-free luxury, milky cleanser and doesn’t require rinsing. Additionally, it packs the skin with moisture and leaves a lingering scent of bergamot, orange and a floral bouquet. Karl Lagerfield reportedly bathed in it as well!
