Rebecca Treston shares a quick & easy skincare routine to follow

Skincare routines can get confusing but having an arsenal of skincare products at your disposal is only as crucial as the order in which you apply. If too many layers go on someone’s face, the products dilute and cancel each other out. My basic rule is that for the morning, you should focus on products that “protect” your skin, while products that “correct” your skin should be used at night.

In the morning, use a cleanser, a Vitamin C and E serum, moisturiser, finishing off with an SPF; and at night use a cleanser, a retinol-based serum and a heavier moisturiser. One final piece of advice, it is best to wait about 30 seconds to one minute between each product to allow the product in your routine to penetrate the skin and ensure optimum results.
