Tarte’s Babassu Foundcealer releases later this month, and we can’t wait
While not the easiest to pronounce (is anyone else finding ‘foundcealer’ tongue-twisting?), this foundation-concealer hybrid is high up on our items-to-try list. The vegan, plant-powered foundation offers buildable coverage where you can apply it with your fingers for light coverage, brush for medium coverage, or a sponge for that luminous light to medium look.
What makes it special? The Founcealer features hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E, and titular babassu, a nourishing, moisturising and soothing superbalm from the rainforest. The formula also contains titanium dioxide, zinc oxide and SPF20, to protect skin from sun damage.
We’re gradually noticing brands leaning towards natural, good-for-your skin ingredients with every new foundation launch – see, Guerlain and Bounce. Quite interested to see if some of our cult favourites are working on something too.
