It’s officially summer! The one thing we love about the sun coming out to play is the fact that we can tan. But since we can’t tan at the beach and pool at the moment, and if you aren’t a fan of baking in the sun anyway, here are some tanning alternatives to try.

BRONZE TOUCH

Sol de Janeiro’s bronzing oils have graced the red carpet thanks to celebrities including Lily Aldridge and Scarlett Johannson. Choose between Rio Sunset; a pale, champagne gold, Copacabana for toffee tones and the lavender-hued Master Flash which looks incredible on darker skins. For a nutrient-rich glow, reach out for the NARS Monoi Body Glow infused with the lightweight Monoï de Tahiti oil, crafted from pure coconut extract combined with tiare blossom (Tahitian gardenia), which packs in a delicate natural scent too.

HD FINISH

Got a tan-phobia or need that au naturel glow for a night? Vita Liberata’s Body Blur Instant HD skin finish gives your bare legs and décolletage a sheen, concealing any blemished, bruises or thread veins. The formula reflects light, offering an illusion of slim calves and elongated shin bones.

LIQUID GOLD

Anything Huda Beauty releases is gold! The N.Y.M.P.H collection sold out within hours of launch, and there’s a reason why. Inspired by Beyonce, the three shades of glistening liquid are basically ‘golden hour’ in a bottle, building from subtle to show-stopping. Mix it with your favourite moisturiser for an incandescent gleam or use as is for that extra glow (in a good way, of course).
