A good body scrub should always be in your beauty cabinet! We’ve put together a list our of our favourite body scrubs to buff your skin from the neck down, but what are the benefits of exfoliation and how often should you scrub?

Why should you exfoliate?

Exfoliating your body not only removes dead skin cells and smooths the surface, it also helps;

  • Achieve a more even tan from the sun
  • Break down toxins
  • Encourage new skin cells to the surface
  • Improve circulation
  • Minimize dark spots, pigmentation and pores
  • Moisturiser absorb further into your skin
  • Prevent breakouts
  • Prevent ingrown hairs from hair removal
  • Self-tan application

How often should you exfoliate? If you have sensitive skin, it would be wise to only scrub once a week. If your skin is less sensitive, you can scrub twice a week or even once a day (if you have the time!) But at minimum you should be buffing once a week.
