Lady Gaga’s natural glowing look stuns at the Oscars
The Best Original Song winner, Lady Gaga, definitely stole the show with her performance, speech, and jewellery. instead of going bold with her makeup. Sarah Tanno, Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador, went for a simple and classic eye, nude lip and glowing skin. “Her makeup was all about being soft, fresh and young. We didn’t want anything to distract from this special moment,” said Sarah.
For the eyes, Sarah used her new go-to Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Steel(etto) ($63) and applied the neutral shades to gently shape the eye. Next, she tight lined the eyes with Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Steel(etto) ($29), a gorgeous soft grey matte shade. Sarah finished with a coat of the new Velvet Lash Primer, followed by Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara
For the lips, Sarah applied Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Slow Burn ($40), a creamy rose nude shade, and tapped it into the lips so you could still see the natural texture of her lips.
For her skin, Sarah used Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF 25 ($51) followed by the new Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick in Medium 33 and 36 (launching 23rd April online) to create a flawless complexion without covering up too much of her natural skin tone. She then set Gaga’s makeup with the Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder in Muse (launching 23rd April online) to blur any imperfections and enhance her red carpet glow – and protect the skin against flash photography!
